Easy Manga ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is stored, and what choices you have when you use the Easy Manga mobile application.
Easy Manga does not require you to create an account. By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Easy Manga does not require registration or login. All core features — browsing manga, reading chapters, saving favorites, and tracking reading history — are available without providing any personal information.
All user data (reading history, favorites, preferences) is stored only on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage) and is never transmitted to our servers, unless you choose to purchase a Premium subscription (see Section 3.2).

Easy Manga offers an optional Premium subscription purchasable through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) In-App Purchase (IAP). When you make a purchase, the following information is processed:

Subscription receipts are verified with Apple and Google servers via encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not sell or share subscription data with third parties.
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to submit via the in-app feedback feature:

The free version of Easy Manga may display banner advertisements. Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements.
Advertising SDKs used in the App may collect anonymous device and usage data for ad-serving purposes. If you purchase a Premium subscription, ad-serving SDKs are disabled and no advertising data is collected from your session.
Easy Manga does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
All personal data (reading history, favorites, preferences, Premium status token) is stored locally on your device using React Native AsyncStorage. Downloaded chapter pages are stored in the App's sandboxed document directory. This data is not encrypted at the storage layer but is sandboxed within the App and inaccessible to other apps on your device.
Our servers receive anonymous chapter read events, feedback submissions (when you choose to submit them), and IAP subscription records (original transaction ID, product ID, expiry date) when you purchase a Premium subscription. All data transmitted to our servers is protected by encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.

No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure. While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Easy Manga does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) for targeted advertising. Free users may see contextual ads; Premium users are not subject to any ad-related tracking.
Easy Manga is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the App does not require account registration, no personal data is collected from users by default.

You can clear all locally stored data (reading history, favorites, preferences, Premium token, downloaded chapters) at any time by clearing the App's data through your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
Your Premium subscription is managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. You can view, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your platform's subscription settings:
Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals; you retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies.
If you switch devices, you can restore your existing subscription within the App using the "Restore Purchase" option — no new charge will be applied.
If you wish to request deletion of the subscription record we hold on our servers (original transaction ID, product ID, expiry date), contact us at [email protected]. We will delete this data unless retention is required by law or for legitimate dispute resolution purposes.

You may limit Firebase Analytics data collection through your device's privacy settings. On iOS, you can limit ad tracking and analytics under Settings → Privacy & Security. On Android, you can opt out under Settings → Google → Usage & diagnostics.
We will respond to all legitimate privacy requests within 30 days.
Easy Manga displays content sourced from MangaDex and processes subscription payments through Apple and Google. This Privacy Policy applies only to data collected by Easy Manga directly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of MangaDex, Apple, or Google (Firebase) and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
Anonymous analytics and crash data processed by Firebase may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfers under Google's applicable data protection safeguards.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your data, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
If you are located in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Legal bases for processing: legitimate interests (app improvement, crash diagnostics) and consent (when you voluntarily submit feedback). Since no account is required, we process minimal personal data.
Google LLC acts as an independent controller for data collected by Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by displaying a notice in the App or updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of Easy Manga after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
